Ok, so being the web dork I am just thought I would share a cool browser I have just been turned onto called FLOCK (http://www.flock.com). I is based on the firefox platform but adds tons of cool features to make it easier to keep you web life organized... like automatically publishing posts to this blog, checking your email, logging into Facebook, Myspace or any number of the new social networking/web 2.0/photo-video sharing sites out there...
It is cool...check it out.
Shawn
BTW...I am in Boston and looking for a job... keeping fingers crossed and hopes high.

Crab Corn Crimini Mushroom Hash
You see, it all starts with the taters, the foundation of any good hash, which begs for Yukon gold - good moisture, golden color and solid texture. But I digress.
The real star turned about to be the lemon and lime zest that, combined with the thyme, to create a nice counterpoint to the dried red pepper flakes used with the potatoes for some heat.
Don't try this at home unless you are willing to make it again, and again, and again! Queue the recipe...and...action!
Crab Corn Crimini Mushroom Hash
6oz of cooked dungeness or other sweet crab, diced
2 tsp fresh thyme
1 squeeze of fresh lemon (about 1 tsp)
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp pepper
> Combine above in a bowl and set aside.
> Start water boiling for corn
1 ear sweet corn, cooked for 8 minutes and kernels removed from cob
4 chimini mushrooms, diced
1 Tb butter
> Sautee mushrooms for 3-4 minutes, season to taste, set aside when done
1 large Yukon gold potato, diced (about 1/2 inch max)
> Saute on med-high for 5 minutes, stirring often to avoid uneven browning
1/4 medium red onion, diced
1/2 Tb dried red pepper flakes
> Reduce heat to medium and add onions to potatoes after 5 minutes, cooking for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
> After 10 minutes, combine crab, corn and crimini to pan and heat for 2-3 minutes to warm throughly
1 dollop creme fraiche
1 sprinkle each lemon and lime zest
1 sprinkle Italian parsley, chopped.
> Plate hash and garnish with above. Voila!
Bon appetit!
Love,
Clark

Whirlwind of a year...
Hi all, sorry I have been missing from this Blog for a while. Things have been crazy in my little corner of the world. Below is a quick outline...
The Sheila Divine reunite for 3 shows at the end of December in Boston. We have loads of fun, Mom and Bill flew out and got to hang out with Sage as well as Mari, Jazz and Rae. Unfortunately Jazz and Rae were too young to go to the show but we had bring your kids to sound check day... (photo 1: Me and Sage (with Mom and Christine {Aaron's wife} and their son Liam) watch Orbit soundcheck)
Aaron (singer of TSD) convinces me I am selling myself short in Jackson and my mind running in circles as I start searching the web for new work opportunities. Also, I reconnect with an old female friend and sparks fly.
Sage goes snowboarding for the first time and nails it... she also is getting the hang of ice skating. Winter fun is had by all, except me (my new boots are refusing to pack in) Sage turns 7 and we have a small swimming party at the rec center... fun times had by all.

For some reason TSD is still very popular in Belgium and we are offered 5000 euros to play 3 songs at the HUM POP POLL Awards show (it is kind of like the Billboard awards of Belgium)...we get flown to Belgium, put up in a hotel and play in front of 15,000 people and numerous cameras (for broadcast on Belgium national TV) LOTS of Fun!!! (photo 1: the venue as it fills up. photo 2: me behind the kit I had to play...looks cool, sounds terrible) See some video...
Meanwhile I am being flown to Boston for interviews with a company call FirstGiving.com only to be told that they "Loved me and I had everything they "were" looking for but are restructuring and the original position I was interviewing for is not in the cards anymore"
Did I mention, I get back from said interview to find out that my position here in Jackson has been dissolved and I no longer have a job in Jackson. I realize finding work in Boston, or anywhere else, will be easier if I move and can be knocking on doors.
I decided to move to Boston and set a date for April 15th... not an easy decision by any means but Jackson is not the place for a person like me. I actually have more ambition than to ski "sick powder" everyday... go figure.
Sage and I go to Walt Disney World and my girlfriend Sarah (more on her later) meets us there for 4 days of walking, getting rained on, riding rides and having a wicked good time.To see photos of the Disney Trip goto http://ssears.shutterfly.com/
More on Sarah Elizabeth Blodgett... Sarah and I have known each other for 10 years, or so. I think there has always been a connection there but the timing was never right, but now things seem to be falling into place. She is the Communications Director for Senator Karen Spilka in Massachusetts. She grew up, for the most part, in a farm house in Amsterdam NY and later moved to NH in high school... We are going to be moving in together in May... Aaron and his family are moving to Antwerp Belgium (for a job Aaron was offered) and we are going to be renting the place they own in Roslindale (for those who know Boston it is a bit further south than Jamaica Plain and is very 'up and coming').
There it is in a nutshell. I will try to be more proactive in posting and keeping everyone in the loop.
Also, to catch up on an earlier post... Albums I am listening to.
1. Ryan Adams - Easy Tiger
2. Tegan and Sara - The Con (I am obsessed with this record)
3. The National - Boxer
4. Portugal the Man - Church Mouth
5. REM - Accelerate (the jury is still out on this one but it is a good return to form after many records of sub par material from one of my all time favorites)
6. Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
7. Did I mention I am obsessed with the The Con by Tegan and Sara? Also, check out their previous record So Jealous.
Bye for now

Senior at last
Hi everyone,
Here's two of my favorite senior pictures. Only 29 more days of school left in my high school career, I can't wait! One of those situations that I can't wait to end but will be sad when it happens... I'm sure I'll get over it quickly though:)
Much love,
Zandra
Happy Birthday, Shawn!
